I recently joined the "UnPacking with Eric & Kai" podcast, and the conversation we had is something I’m eager to share! For those who haven’t listened yet, this episode digs deep into identity, resilience, and what it means to build something meaningful when the odds aren’t always in your favor.
On the episode, we unpacked my journey with TransTech Social and discussed why access to technology is such a powerful tool, especially for marginalized communities. I shared insights on how our grants and tech programs have transformed lives by providing not only resources but a sense of possibility.
Technology access can change someone’s path—it can empower education, career opportunities, and personal growth in ways that are often taken for granted.
We also got into the unique challenges and triumphs I’ve experienced as a Black trans entrepreneur. Facing and overcoming barriers has shown me just how resilient our community can be. But the conversation didn’t stop there; we explored the importance of creating spaces where everyone, regardless of their background, can thrive.
I met Kai back in Atlanta, GA at the Saving Ourselves Symposium and then met both Eric & Kai at an event in Washington, DC. These two individuals are making waves on radio and I was honored to UnPack with them and can't wait to come back.
If you’re interested in how to turn obstacles into opportunities and lead with authenticity, give this episode a listen. A huge thank you to Eric and Kai for the opportunity to share my story in such an open, welcoming space. I hope the conversation inspires you to pursue your purpose with passion and resilience.
